I've written a fable - "Why the Ash Has Black Buds" - for a collection called Why Willows Weep, edited by Tracy Chevalier and Simon Prosser. The book is being published to help The Woodland Trust - each copy sold will raise enough money for the trust to plant five native trees. You can hear me reading my ash story here.
